well, summer weather seems to be in full swing here in rochester, and come this thursday so will the south wedge farmer's market. come celebrate the market's grand re-opening with us as we share our tent with lizz switzer. for those of you not familiar with her work, you are in for a real treat. she is an Artist (with a capital A) whose work has been shown in numerous galleries throughout new york, exploring themes of femininity, body image and their power.

she is also tremendously talented at the time-honored crafts of embroidery and knitting. and fear not friends, for she brings all the depth and breadth to her crafts as she does her larger works. at our humble booth, she will be offering up some traditional (and not-so-traditional!) knit goods as well as her stunning tea-stain prints.

I could say so much more, but you simply must meet lizz and see her work for yourself. So go on, brave the heat and help us welcome summer!
