august 14} andrew zangerle

get ready for some fun under the second storie tent this week as we welcome andrew zangerle. he'll be bringing along some robots, cowboys and monsters. no, really! andrew's collection of stuffed creatures are totally different than any you've seen. and his framed original drawings are simply too cool not to come and check out. i am completely enamored with the drowning robot!

but i'm certainly not going to give it all way for you. andrew will surely have some surprises in store, so come on out and say hello!

see you on thursday,
joAnn

august 7} hey buddy

We're super excited to tell you that Dan Verenka of Hey Buddy will be joining us once again at the market! If you missed him in May, be sure to make it out this Thursday.

Dan has an affection for vintage graphics and you will too when you see his unique line of hand silk screened t-shirts, totebags and cards. If you're like me, you'll walk away with words like "nifty" and "neato" in mind! If you are a Barack Obama and 80's metal fan, you'll really want to come by and check out his newest line.

And here's hoping the weather is swell!
See you on Thursday,
JoAnn

p.s. we'll be changing things around here at the second storie blog. updates and new stuff coming soon!

july 31} jen wright

this youngster shows so much enthusiasm for his pants, i can't wait to see what else jen wright has in store for her booth with us this week! creatively taking bandanas and re-fashioning them into children's clothing, she's going to fill our space with fun and color. it's sure to be a great draw for the wee ones around!
stop by and see for yourself how lovely her halter dresses are for your toddlers!

july 24} smallbird

"I am inspired by nature, color, beauty found in simple objects and elements, and the juxtaposition of the elegant and the unrefined..."

i simply can't wait to see our booth at the market this week filled with smallbird's beautiful jewelry! jenna's choices in metals and semi precious stones are in perfect balance with her elegant, simple designs. handmade with impeccable craftsmanship, each piece truly is a work of art.
i'm very excited to own my own pair of stamped sterling silver earrings... or maybe it'll be the timeless silver hoops... a bracelet perhaps? i find something very special about shopping for jewelry, knowing it's a truly lasting gift, be it for myself or a close friend.
you'll surely find something very special, too.
